Hello World!!!! Just to set the record straight Duke Johnson is not my real name……it hails from my time spent in Torbay , Devon when I spent my early 20s in a rock band called Duke Johnson and The Scorchers….we played in various clubs and pubs in around Torquay……I moved from the Sun of the English Riveria to the Sun of Costa Blanca here in Spain just over 12months ago….

My parents moved here years ago …… they had always encouraged me to move here with them when they first moved over….. but like everything else it took me years to realise they were right…( Mums are always right !! )

I was heavily influenced by my step-father with his musical tastes with everything from The Shadows FBI to Motorhead Ace of Spades…..and everything inbetween..

I came to spain with the intention to get into property sales , with one of the major property companies , until I stumbled across and advert for Sales Manager at Sunshine Fm….With my love for music and a love for meeting people , Sunshine Fm seemed to be the perfect job…

I soon become involved in the station apart form just the selling as the Sales Manager , when I took on the marketing roll and NOT forgetting being a judge for the biggest karaoke competition her on the Costa Blanca…..with Sunshine Fm and the CoastRider.

I first started to be a presenter when Glenn Masters was on his holidays , so I was kindly given the chance to do the The Big Drive Home, for a whole week…it was a great but nerve racking experience.......Walking in the footsteps of Giants….!!

I was a natural (  so im told ) so I now have my own shows…

 You can listen to my show 12pm to 3pm on Saturday where I play your requests and a few of my favourites Old and New…

Then Saturday and Sunday Nights ….7pm to 10pm you can here the Number No1 Rock Show here on your Number 1 Radio Station……..where I be giving you all the lastest in the Rock music world , playing you all the lastest New Rock music unrealased in the UK..hot off the press…and a few blasts from the past such as Rainbow and ZZ Top….With Competitions for all sorts of prizes to give away …Not forgetting the Sunshine Fm Car Sticker proudly sponsored by the British Auto Centre , Almoradi
